Wait, What!? Jackie Christie Announces Departure From 'Basketball Wives' Midway Through Season 8 Filming [Video]

We told you a while back that the ladies of ‘Basketball Wives‘ were filming season 8 which is set to air this summer and all of the ladies including Tami Roman, Jackie Christie, Evelyn Lozada, Shaunie O’ Neal, Malaysia Pargo and even Jennifer Williams were all set to return.

Even the season 7 newbies are returning and have all been spotted taping the past few weeks. On Thursday night, the ladies were attending a 90’s sitcom themed party and snaps of some of their looks made their way to the gram as they were filming.

Well shortly after the snaps of the party surfaced online on Thursday night, Jackie took to social media to reveal that she was leaving the show mid season.

It’s not clear if her decision is related to something that happened at the party or on the show in general, or if it’s just a joke to troll fans. Jackie has also been extremely busy with acting and other gigs so her “departure” may be work related. We’ll have to wait until the new season premieres in June to find out.

Fans even took the opportunity to throw out the idea of Draya Michele returning if Jackie has officially left. Draya however was not here for it.
