Crews 
Tuesday night (April 5) BET aired the 2016 Black Girls Rock and as usual, the show delivered some great performances and magical moments.
The honorees were producer and writer Shonda Rhimes (Shot Caller Award), R&B legend Gladys Knight (Living Legend Award), The Walking Dead actress and “Eclipsed” playwright Danai Gurira (Star Power Award), award-winning actress and activist Amandla Stenberg (Young Gifted and Black Award), and Black Lives Matter founders Patrisse Cullors, Alicia Garza, and Opal Tometi (Community Change Agent Award).
Complete with performances from Jazmine Sullivan, Brandy, Monica, Gladys Knight and many more the show wowed us and Tracee Ellis Ross killed the opening with a medley/dance tribute to some of music’s best divas and black girls that rock. Get into just a few of the performances below.
