Pop princess Britney Spears made a major announcement this morning on ‘Good Morning America’ although there were already mumblings about the announcement weeks ago. Spears confirmed she will be taking on a residency in Las Vegas starting December 27 for two years. The 31 year old performer will host over 50 shows live from Planet Hollywood, performing all of her hits, past and new material in a concert meets broadway style show. Tickets for the show officially go on sale today on Ticketmaster.com
This announcement comes just a few days after the release of her hot new single ‘Work Bitch’ which shot to the top of the charts in several countries over the weekend. Spears is estimated to bring in just over $15million a year for her two year contract.
