Well, as to be expected with any bio pic or film based on a true story for that matter, the opinions of what was accurate or not accurate will vary from those that were involved. We told you before that Crystal Jones, the original ‘C’ before Chilli of TLC, was on standby watching ‘Crazy Sexy Cool: The TLC Story ‘and expressed via Twitter that she was hoping the truth would be told.
Well the one time member stopped by V103 in Atlanta to set the record straight, from her perspective. The movie showed that she was kicked out of the group after their initial audition with Pebbles and LA Reid, due to a not so on par vocal performance during the audition. Crystal however has a different recollection of what transpired including the fact that many key players including Jermaine Dupri were left out of the film.
