WEtv is expanding their popular ‘Growing Up Hip Hop‘ franchise following the success of the Los Angeles and Atlanta based series. Now the show will travel to the birth place of Hip Hop for ‘Growing Up Hip Hop: New York.’

The new series will star the children of Ja Rule, Irv Gotti, Charli Baltimore, Fat Joe, Flavor Flav, Kid Cupri, Rev Run and the late Ol’ Dirty Bastard as well as their respective parents.

The premiere season kicks off on August 29 and you can get into the official season trailer below.
