The highly anticipated trailer for season 16 of ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta’ was officially released last week, prompting a reaction from former star Kandi Burruss.
During a recent live session, Kandi was asked about her thoughts on the trailer, particularly regarding the absence of Kenya Moore in the cast photo, despite her presence in parts of the trailer.
As fans are aware, Kenya was expected to return full-time for season 16 and serve as a key member of the cast along with Porsha Williams.
However, tensions arose between Kenya and newcomer Brit Eady, leading to Kenya being “suspended” from filming midway through the season.
It was confirmed that Phaedra Parks joined the cast shortly after the drama unfolded and participated in filming for the final two weeks of the season.
The recently released trailer hints at the conflict between Kenya and Brit playing out on the show, but Kenya was not included in the cast listing or featured in the promotional photos. Meanwhile, Phaedra is listed as a full-time cast member.
Kandi is now expressing her frustration about the situation, stating that despite any mistakes Kenya may have made, she believes Kenya should not be excluded or “thrown away” due to her “offensive” behavior.
