After a long overdue wait, Janet Jackson was finally inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame on Friday night (March 29) alongside several of her other industry peers.
After being ushered in by Janelle Monae, Janet took to the stage to deliver a powerful acceptance speech which honored all the people who helped her to get to this moment. Specifically, she paid homage to her siblings who were also inducted into the exclusive club before her (Jackson 5 were inducted in 1997, Michael Jackson was inducted as a solo artist in 2001).

The 34th Annual Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will air April 27 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on all HBO platforms and streaming services.
