Fans of the hit sitcom ‘Girlfriends‘ have been mourning the loss of the show since it went off air over 10 years ago. On Tuesday, Jill Marie-Jones who played Toni Childs on the series, opened up about the possibility of a reunion or film adaptation of the show.

The news came during her visit to ‘The Breakfast Club‘ where she and her co-stars from their new film, ‘Monogamy‘ came to dish on that specifically, but Charlamagne (who is a die hard ‘Girlfriends’ fan) kicked off the interview with his burning questions regarding the show.

Jill revealed that she, Tracee Ellis Ross, Persia White, Golden Brooks all want to return for a movie but says it’s not really in their hands.

“We all want to do it,” she said. ” I think it’s a timing thing and also the legal stuff. When you sell a script you don’t actually own it anymore so whatever CBS and Paramount want to do.”

She also gave a bit more tea on the show being cancelled abruptly and the possibility of a reunion, get in below.
