We showed you the shocking tweets that rapper Lil Wayne issued this week declaring that he wanted off his label Cash Money Records and that he felt like a prisoner. The tweets were later deleted and Wayne’s manager Cortez Bryant told TMZ that things were fine
“We good,” he told TMZ. “I’m smiling. I wouldn’t be out at the club right now.”
Well looks like things aren’t fine and for those that thought that Wayne’s Twitter account may have been hacked, he just confirmed the tweets were indeed real and that he will soon be off Cash Money Records.
“It’s a fucked up situation, but I will be out of it soon, and I do it for ya’ll,” he said while performing at Vice’s 20th anniversary party in Brooklyn on Friday.
