Michelle Williams is on a promo trail for her new Oxygen network show ‘Fix My Choir’ as well as promoting her new album ‘Journey To Freedom’ and during her trek she sat down with HuffPost Live on Wednesday and dished on the exciting day that she Beyonce and Kelly Rowland met Whitney Houston for the first time and what she said to them.
“Myself, Beyoncè and Kelly, we were walking into our hotel. Bobby Brown was in the hotel lobby, and he said, ‘My wife loves you girls!’ [Whitney] comes [in] and starts singing ‘Say My Name,'” Williams described.
“She said, ‘Y’all stay together. Stick together. Love each other.’ She was very encouraging,”
Michelle reveals she didn’t lose it in front of the legend but the moment the coast was clear all of her excitement came out in her hotel room.
“I got the pillow, put it up to my face, and just went into convulsion and screams of joy,” she recalled. “To see her — oh my God — and for her to be killin’ ‘Say My Name’ — she kills it!”
