On Sunday night (Nov. 17) BET aired the 2019 Soul Train Awards live from Las Vegas–hosted by hilarious BFF’s, Tisha Campbell & Tichina Arnold.

For their second year in a row as hosts and executive producers of the show, the ladies delivered a stellar show from start to finish. One of the highlights of the night was a Janet Jackson themed opening (which coincided with Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis being honored at the show).

Tisha and Tichina did a medley of Janet songs, and even brought out special guest, MJ Rodriguez of ‘Pose’ to do a ballroom inspired performance of Janet’s fan fave ‘Throb.’
