As fans continue to pitch their requests for upcoming battles in the wildly popular ‘Verzuz‘ series brought to us by Timbaland and Swizz Beatz, Timb has just confirmed that one of the recently proposed battles is officially underway.
Weeks ago, Ray J during an interview with Wendy Williams threw out the idea of Brandy vs. Monica, and both ladies confirmed that they would be interested in that concept but with certain restrictions.
Monica preferred to call the event a “celebration” as opposed to a verzuz/battle, while Brandy was fine either way.
Well, during a recent sit down on Fox Soul, Timbaland confirmed that Brandy is officially joining the lineup. He did not confirm the status of Monica’s participation, but we’re quite sure she’s all in.
