Anyone who watches ‘The Wendy Williams Show‘ regularly has noticed over the past few days, or weeks even, that the daytime diva has been a little “off” and less than on her game as normal.

There’s been all kind of speculation surrounding her health, and even rumors that she was back on drugs (which she has been quite vocal about for years with fans). Well on Wednesday’s show, Wendy addressed the accusations and made a major revelation.

Wendy announced at the top of the show that she’s suffering from Graves’ disease, an immune system disorder that was triggered via her thyroid disease. She says one of the symptoms effects the muscles behind her eyeballs.

Wendy went on to elaborate and also revealed that she will be taking a brief hiatus from her show per doctors orders effective immediately.

“I feel like there are birds swimming around in my head. You know, like a cartoon? Like, constantly high — but I’m not high,” said Wendy. “My doctor has prescribed, as of today, three weeks of vacation.”

“I’ll be back in two. I’m not an heiress — who is going to pay my bills? Are you serious? I’m just saying, I come from working class,” she joked.

The news comes less than a week after she returned back to the show after taking a three day break due to what she revealed was symptoms of the flu. This was just months after her infamous on air fall back in late October.
