Wendy Williams is being dragged and read all over social media today based on some touchy comments she made today during “Hot Topics” regarding the petition circulating to get Jesse Williams fired from Grey’s Anatomy.
Wendy stated that she can understand his speech and sees the views from both sides, and in an attempt to compare she says that if she were white, she would be offended if there were a “historically white college” or a white equivalent to the NAACP.
“I would be really offended if there was a school that was known as a historically white college. We have historically black colleges,” she said.
Despite the fact that per parents are both educators, Wendy must have forgotten the reason that the NAACP was created to combat the injustices that black people faced during the civil rights era and and HBCU’s were created because blacks weren’t being accepted into predominately white colleges.
