Since announcing their reunion months ago, fans of Xscape have been waiting to hear when and where they can see the ladies return to the stage, and now we know. Outside of their planned biopic and reality show, the ladies are kicking off their comeback with a major performance.
It was announced on Weds.(May 17) that the ladies will hit the stage at the 2017 Essence Festival at the Superdome in New Orleans, LA. The foursome is set to perform on the closing night Sunday, July 2 – alongside Chance the Rapper, Master P, Solange and more.
The ladies released an official statement announcing the news.
“We couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate the return of Xscape than in New Orleans with our fans at the world famous, Essence Festival. Essence Fest is so much more than a music festival, it’s a celebration of culture, music and entertainment. We are excited and honored to be included in an incredible line up of artists and performers, including the living legend, Diana Ross!”
