Yikes! Spike Lee Says He No Longer Plans To Use "Sistuh Girl" Chrisette Michele's Music For His Upcoming 'She's Gotta Have It' Remake

Chrisette Michele may be allegedly making a nice $750,000 check for performing at the Trump inauguration this weekend, but it may be costing her money and other potential gigs in the future.

Following the current backlash the singer is receiving for agreeing to perform for Trump’s festivities, famed director Spike Lee has slammed the singer for her decision. He revealed in a new Instagram post that he was slated to use her song “Black Girl Magic” for his upcoming remake of ‘She’s Gotta Have It’ on Netflix.

Now, Lee says he will not be using “Sistuh Girl” or her music. Yikes, get in below.
