It’s been over 20 years since the death of Aaliyah, but her impact is still felt all these years later and fans still adore the late singer and covet her music as if it was just released.
For this reason, ABC News has announced a new 20/20 special that will profile Aaliyah with an hour-long TV event titled, ‘Superstar: Aaliyah.’
The hour-long special will explore Aaliyah’s life, including the marriage scandal with R. Kelly, her transition into a Hollywood movie star, her death, and more.
The network has unveiled a teaser trailer that features appearances and interviews from her ex, Damon Dash, Barry Hankerson, Justin Skye, Seven Streeter, will.i.am and more.
