With VH1 Hip Hop Honors: All Hail The Queens set to air live on Monday night (July 11) the list of performers set to tribute honorees-Lil Kim, Missy Elliott, Queen Latifah and Salt-N-Pepa are rolling in.
According to the network, we will now see Amber Rose, Keke Palmer, Ashanti and Dreezy come together to honor Salt-N-Pepa at this year’s show in what they say will be a “tribute for the books.’
As previously reported, Queen Latifah will be tributed by Common, Da Brat and more while Missy is getting her own special tribute, which Pharrell, Timbaland, Nelly Furtado, Remy Ma, Trina, Eve, Tweet, Monica, Keyshia Cole, Jazmine Sullivan, Raven Symone and Fantasia will all play a part in.
Kim’s ensemble has yet to be announced but stay tuned to see who is in the works for that! In the meantime, check out Missy as she discusses her influence in music.
