Following the announcement earlier today on who would be part of the Salt N Pepa tribute at Monday’s live VH1 Hip Hop Honors: All Hail The Queens, now we have word on who will be the first act lined up to pay homage to the Queen Bee, Lil Kim.
Despite the fact that all the honorees- Queen Latifah, Missy Elliott and SNP have all had their tribute performers announced so far, Kim was the only one to not have a confirmed lineup, until today that is.
Singer Teyana Taylor took to Twitter on Saturday (July 9) to announce that she is the first artist confirmed as part of the tribute. In my mind I am already thinking of what song(s) she could do, and other artists to join her in saluting the original queen of rap.
