Ray J stirred up some controversy this week when he took to social media to share a message directed at Jay-Z and Beyoncé.
The Carters have been spotted attending several stops on “The Boy Is Mine Tour” to support Brandy, Monica, and their sister, Kelly Rowland.
During the New Jersey stop last week, Beyoncé posed for a photo backstage with Monica, Kelly, the legendary Patti Labelle, and her sister Solange Knowles.
This left fans wondering why Brandy was not in the picture. Many assumed that Brandy was likely on stage when the photo was taken. However, Ray J believes that the Carters should have made the effort to take a photo with Brandy to show her some love.
He took to social media to send a message to the couple, while making it clear that he himself had not talked to Brandy about the matter, but made assumptions based on the pictures.

Shortly after Ray’s comments, Brandy’s Instagram account began leaving comments on Bey fan pages prompting fans to believe her account was hacked.

Brandy’s team later issued a statement confirming her accounts were indeed compromised.
