Brandy and Monica made their highly anticipated stop in Washington, D.C., for “The Boy Is Mine Tour” on Sunday, November 30, and the night was filled with several surprises.
Just hours before the show, it was announced that Muni Long would be dropping off the tour due to doctor’s orders, following a series of shows she missed due to illness.
Mya, who had previously stepped in for Muni during her absence, officially joined the tour for her hometown show, with the Sunday performance marking her first show as an official act. She will finish out the trek with Brandy, Monica, Kelly Rowland, and Jamal Roberts over the last round of dates.
In addition to Mya’s surprise appearance, former First Lady Michelle Obama, Michelle Williams, and others were also in attendance at the concert.
