It’s been a tough week for actress Keshia Knight Pulliam since it was announced that her husband Ed Hartwell was filing for divorce from her, only days after she revealed to the world that she was pregnant with their child.
If you’ve been keeping up, you already know that Keisha and Ed both booked separate interviews this week discussing the divorce drama. Things got real messy with accusations of cheating on both side, while Ed says he doesn’t totally believe the child she is carrying is his.
Well now, Keshia is clarifying some other elements of their marriage that many are confused on-her alleged “friendship” with Ed’s ex, former ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta‘ star Lisa Wu. Many assumed that based on past pictures of the ladies together out at events, that they were good friends. Speculation even went as far as saying that Lisa introduced Keshia to Ed years ago when they were married and allegedly Keshia swooped in and started dating him after he and Lisa’s divorce.
On Friday night (July 29) during her podcast ‘Kandidly Keshia‘, she addressed all those rumors and seemingly implied that she may be bringing charges against someone, for defamation. Via Global Grind:
“Lisa Wu and I have never, will never, be friends,” Pulliam said during the show. “I have no ill will for her, I don’t know her like that it was never a situation of stealing anyone’s husband. They were divorced many years before we even started dating and yes we live in Atlanta, it’s a small town. Have I run into her? Have I taken a picture with her? Absolutely, but I take pictures with people every day. And if you were categorized as friends with everyone you took a picture with, would that be accurate?” She continued, “I just want to say that I have no desire to continue to be a part of that lie and to continue to be part of a false made up story line that puts me in a defamatory, derogatory light and I don’t have anything more to say about that,” she continued. “But my attorney will be dealing with that from a legal standpoint.”
Speaking on Ed’s claims that the baby may not be his:
“This is his baby. He wanted more children. He was excited once he found out that we were having a little girl. There was never a question about that,” she said. “No point after we got pregnant was there an issue of the fact that we’re having a baby.”
