Lil Nas X is speaking out for the first time since his headline-making arrest on August 21.
The controversial performer was the talk of social media and news headlines everywhere for walking through the streets of Los Angeles in his underwear him to plead not guilty to four felony charges.
Though reports indicated that the performer had been hospitalized for a drug overdose, his father, Robert Stafford, told reporters that his son “absolutely” did “not” take illegal drugs.
Lil Nas X pleaded not guilty to three counts of battery with injury on a police officer and one count of resisting an executive officer in court on Aug. 25. He waived his arraignment, and his bail was set at $75,000. A judge also ordered the star to attend four Narcotics Anonymous meetings per week.
The “Old Town Road” singer took to his Instagram stories on Tuesday following his release from prison yesterday to update his fans and followers on the “terrifying” experience.
