It’s been rumored for some time now that Evelyn Lozada was planning to return to the ‘Basketball Wives‘ franchise, after the original Miami based reality show was cancelled following its fifth season. However, due to conflicts with her current show ‘Livin’ Lozada‘ on OWN, as well as taking time to deal with her family and personal life, it never actually came to fruition.

Her good friend and the shows executive producer, Shaunie O’ Neal previously revealed in an interview with VH1 that she has begged Eve to join the cast of ‘Basketball Wives: LA‘ since their Miami based ‘Basketball Wives’ has been cancelled for some time now. Evelyn also recently teased a few months ago that she would return IF some casting changes were mad, while Tami Roman also hinted that the original BBW cast was “cooking up something.”

Shaunie also revealed that she has been recruiting Eve’s ex BFF, Jennifer Williams, but indicated that there were some contract issues that had to be worked out since she departed the Miami based show following a tumultuous season 4 several years ago.

Well Eve took to social media on Tuesday to tease a “huge announcement” is on the way and of course, all her fans instantly began speculating that it was related to her finally returning to the show.

I have a HUGE Announcement to make on December 1st! Can you guess what it is?

A particularly credible BBWLA fan page on Instagram “confirmed” the news early Wednesday morning. Although Eve has yet to confirm or deny, we will stay tuned this week to see what her official announcement is.
