Since it was announced earlier this summer that Tamar Braxton was being let go from her co-host role on ‘The Real,’ we wondered how the show would manage without her big personality, and equally as big opinions.

Well apparently according to new reports, after only a few weeks of their third season (the first without Tamar), the ratings are slipping extremely low. So low, that the show might be in jeopardy of being cancelled. Via BET:

According to the show’s fans — in some cases, former fans — the talk show is not the same without her. Folks have noticed such a big difference in the quality of the show sans Tamar that some are even speculating that it could face cancellation without her.

The talk show’s ratings have been affected by Tamar’s departure, too. According to The Wrap, the Season 3 premiere (on September 12) brought in what the site described as a “disheartening” 22 percent decrease in viewers compared to the Season 2 premiere in 2015.

Broadcasting Cable also reported on the pretty steep ratings decline, revealing that the 22 percent decrease in ratings “showed the largest declines of any talkers that haven’t already been canceled,” suggesting that The Real could potentially be in danger of cancellation unless ratings improve.

No official statement has been released from the network on the ratings, or its status but we will definitely be on the lookout. Meanwhile, the folks on Twitter and making it known that they are still not here for the show without Tamar.

Meanwhile, Tamar is gearing up for her own talk show, as I previously told you HERE. Are you here for ‘The Real’ without Tamar? Share, sound off, and let me know!
