According to various reports, during a Broadway show, things got a little messy over the weekend between Sherri Shepherd and Nia Long.
On Monday, Sherri took to her daytime show to allude to the drama citing an incident with an actress that confronted her at the show.
On Sunday night, Shepherd went to the highly-anticipated debut of “Othello” — which stars Denzel Washington and Jake Gyllenhaal — and according to her she was accosted by an “unnamed celebrity” before the the show began.
Sherri teased that the celebrity “grabbed my arm and forcefully turned me around… and she says to me, ‘You’ve been shading me a lot.’”
Shepherd said she denied the disses, but the woman replied: “Yes, you have!”
The sudden altercation left Sherri “really mad.”
“I went to the bathroom during the intermission and I waited there for 15 minutes waiting for a meeting in the ladies room,” she said.
“You don’t get to grab me and turn me around like we’re in a daggum cartoon and just walk away.”

Various reports are confirming that it was indeed Nia Long, but her reps have not responded to requests for a quote.
Meanwhile, Nia was in attendance and shared snaps from the event including her program from the show. She also seemingly responded to the claims with a shady post below captioned “About last night….😘”
