Tamar Braxton and her sister, Toni Braxton, went viral last week following a shady exchange online which Tamar suggested was “gaslighting” by her big sis.
While trying to wish Tamar a happy birthday, Toni shared that she might have been blocked by her sister. “I wanted to repost that GORGEOUS picture of you,” the R&B star wrote. “But I’m blocked, again?? Anyway, happy birthday Tay!”
The post went viral and caught Tamar’s attention, prompting her to respond. “Or you could have called,” she commented. “#Gaslighting.”

In a later post, Tamar continued celebrating her b-day while seemingly addressing the drama.
“It’s my MF Birthday! Don’t get me wrong, I’m so humble, will always be, but in this chapter I’ll never dim my light so others can shine. This time, I’m remembering who tf i am! Cause i almost forgot! -THEE Tamar Braxton..”
“today has been a very emotional day. I can’t believe how AMAZING my bday has been. I have the most AMAZING friends that are now my family. Well, it appears all is now well between the sisters. On Monday night (March 24), Tamar took back to social media to share a fresh snap of her and Toni embracing with the caption “The BIGGEST and the LITTLEST @tonibraxton“
The family is currently filming season 2 of their WEtv series ‘The Braxtons’ following the reboot of the series which aired last year.
