Today’s Throwback Thursday is inspired by yesterday’s super juicy part 2 reunion of ‘R&B Divas: LA’. At the conclusion of the show, Kelly Price made a surprise announcement that she along with a select few of the ATL R&B Divas would be going out on tour. One of those acts would be ATL’s Nicci Gilbert’s recently reunited group Brownstone. Get into their 1995 smash single ‘Grapevyne’ which hit #6 on the Billboard R&B charts. Although their debut album was their only successful one, and the group would ultimately breakup following their sophomore release, Grapevyne still stands as one of their biggest hits.
