The Southern Hummingbird herself, Tweet is back!
After revealing earlier this year that she was prepping a new album ‘Memoirs of a Southern Hummingbird,’ the soul singer has just now dropped her first offering from the album.
The previously unreleased track, was originally intended for 2005’s ‘It’s Me Again,’ but never saw the light of day until now.
The track was produced by Walter W. Millsap III and James “J2M” Owens Jr and is Tweet’s first single since 2021’s ‘Neva Gonna Break My Heart Again.’
Tweet has revealed that ‘Memoirs’ will serve as the sequel to her 2002 debut album ‘Southern Hummingbird’ which just recently went platinum after over 20 years.
The new album will be her first release since 2016’s ‘Charlene.’
