Brandy took center court today at the 2026 NBA All-Star Game at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California, where she performed the U.S. National Anthem ahead of tip-off.
Backed by members of the girl group, June’s Diary, the Grammy-winning singer delivered a stylized rendition of “The Star-Spangled Banner,” incorporating layered harmonies and controlled vocal runs that have long been part of her signature sound.
As expected, social media quickly reacted. Many praised the performance for its creativity and vocal strength, while others expressed preference for a more traditional interpretation.
