Following her less than smart comments regarding the NAACP and HBCU’s last week, Wendy Williams received major backlash from social media and anyone with common sense who knew that her statements were inaccurate and offensive.
One of those people was Roland Martin, who took to his TV One show News One Now to educate and check Wendy on her views and the history of HBCU’s and the NAACP in this country. The backlash was so strong for Wendy, that she reportedly lost one of her major sponsorship deals for her talk show prompting her to address the matter at the top of her show days later.
