A Night For The Queens: Chaka Khan & Stephanie Mills Set For Next 'Verzuz' Following Stephanie Revealing They Initially Declined Her

Verzuz is ready to welcome its newest round of contenders to the coveted stage, and it will be two living legends who come together to celebrate one another.

Chaka Khan and Stephanie Mills will be the next two artists to hit the Verzuz stage for a “holiday” edition hailed ‘A Night For The Queens’ set for Thursday, November 18th.

The live showing will take place at The Theatre at Ace Hotel DTLA in Los Angeles, and fans are able to purchase tickets to catch all the action in person. Both ladies took to their IG’s on Saturday night to share the news.

Stephanie revealed back in June during an interview at ‘The Breakfast Club,’ that she had previously reached out to the Verzuz team to try to negotiate one with Chaka, but the idea was shot down and they “weren’t interested” in the idea.

Her manager who was present during the interview chimed in and revealed that the Verzuz folks had actually circled back after initially declining and that it was now in the works at that time. We’re glad to see that everything worked out, and we’ll be right there for the celebration.
