Fresh off a major career milestone, Durand Bernarr returns with new music, officially releasing his latest album BERNARR. on May 1. The project serves as his fourth studio album and follows the success of his 2025 release BLOOM, which earned him his first Grammy Award for Best Progressive R&B Album.
The self-titled album marks a more personal chapter for the singer-songwriter. BERNARR. is named after his father, Bernarr Ferebee Sr., a respected sound engineer, and reflects a deeper connection to his roots while continuing to build on the genre-blending sound Bernarr has become known for across R&B, soul, and funk.
Leading the rollout is the single “Wild Ride,” featuring James Fauntleroy, setting the tone for the album’s themes of intention, growth, and timing. The project also includes a range of notable collaborations, bringing together a diverse mix of artists across R&B and hip-hop. Features include Khalid, Big Sean, Sevyn Streeter, Vic Mensa, and BJ The Chicago Kid, further highlighting Bernarr’s versatility and collaborative reach.
