While Stacey Dash was on stage at Sunday’s 88th annual Academy Awards making a complete fool of herself, Bette Midler was somewhere eithering the entire show with just one tweet.
Just a few weeks ago while watching Stanley Nelson’s documentary about the Black Panthers, Midler wondered if President Obama would pardon the remaining Panthers who are still imprisoned, and on Sunday she continued to show how “woke” she was with this one priceless tweet.
The Oscars are today! You know, the awards show where Leonardo DiCaprio is “overdue” but black people can “wait till next year.”
