Say what you will about Kim Kardashian West, but if there is one thing the reality star/mogul is great at–its branding herself. In case you didn’t know, this week Kim launched her new “KIMOJI” app complete with tons of emoji’s inspired by what else? HER!
The launch of the app was so successful that it shut down Apple’s app store! that’s right, Kim broke the app store. Via TMZ:
Kim launched Kimoji’s Monday — Kim-themed emojis — and the response was crazy. So many people tried downloading it at once, the Apple app store couldn’t handle the tidal wave and started crashing.
At one point today it was getting 9,000 downloads per millisecond.
We’re told the Apple tech team swooped in and shored it up so it didn’t fully crash.
As for the app … it will set you back $1.99.
Upon hearing the news Kim took to Twitter to acknowledge the power that is well, herself.
