Brandy Gets Emotional Watching Classic Whitney Houston Clip Discussing Their Relationship Ahead of Her Birthday/Anniversary of Whitney's Passing

Brandy is gearing up for a major week!

On Thursday (Feb. 11), the singer will celebrate her 42nd birthday, which will also mark the 9th anniversary of the passing of her mentor, inspiration, and friend, Whitney Houston.

This week will also see the previously announced debut of ‘Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella‘–which starred Bran and Whitney–make its long-awaited debut to Disney+ahead of the weekend.

Bran has been doing a round of promo this week for the debut of ‘Cinderella’ which fans have been asking for for years.

During a stop by ‘ET‘ the singer was shown a classic clip of Whitney, from the set of the film back in 1997, where Whitney explains the relationship between her and Bran.

The clip gets Brandy emotional as she reflects on the passing of her mentor. Get into it below.
