The R&B belles were all over daytime on Tuesday, following Ciara’s stop by ‘Today’ for her promo run, Brandy appeared on ‘Meredith’ to chat it up herself. The ‘Chicago’ star talked about her current run on Broadway, her mentor Whitney Houston, and revealed that she thought her career was over due to her own personal thoughts and insecurities.
She says that she feels renewed and like she has a fresh start with her career now thanks to upcoming new music, the Broadway run and television projects. Outside of her new sitcom ‘Zoe Moon’ the other project is the ever growing rumor that she will star on ‘Empire’ season 2. Brandy says that if she could play any character she would actually want to play herself so that she can sing and showcase who she is versus a character. Check out the full interview below.
