After weeks of discussion surrounding the lack of diversity and inclusion in Hollywood and the proposed #OscarsSoWhite boycott, the 88th annual Academy Awards aired on Sunday night (Feb 28). As expected, host Chris Rock tackled the controversy head on, including those who said he should bail out of his MC duties.
In his opening monologue, Chris made some very valid points, threw a little shade at Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith, and made everyone in the room feel a little uncomfortable. Get into it below.
