Kenya Moore has been very vocal over the years regarding her strained relationship with her mother, who abandoned her as a child.
We’ve seen Kenya struggle with this over the years and she even tried to reconnect in person with her mother to no avail on past seasons of ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta‘–by showing up to her mother’s home–only to have her mother leave her standing outside and not answer the door.
She even touched on the sore topic during her recent visit to ‘The Wendy Williams Show‘ just weeks ago.
Well, it looks like Kenya was gifted a Christmas miracle as her mother has reached out to extend an olive branch, through her granddaughter/Kenya’s baby girl Brooklyn Doris Daly.
Kenya took to social media on Christmas Eve to share a series pictures of her daughter Brooklyn as well as the gifts sent to her from her mother, and revealed how this was her mother’s way of reconneting via her granddaugher.
My prayer has always been to have a family. We had a late celebration for @thebrooklyndaly for her birthday and got a surprise of a lifetime. My mother sent her a gift for her.
I had stopped praying about our relationship but God sent a message through my child. This is life. And despite challenges God is always on time.
