The final numbers for Janet Jackson‘s 11th studio album ‘Unbreakable’ are in, and the iconic performer has landed a new number one album and exceeded initial sales predictions.
According to Hits Daily Double, she topped the charts with 106k in physical copies and totaled 112k including streaming. The album of course took the no. 1 spot on the Billboard albums charts and the news comes just a day after it was announced that Jan is nominated to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame for their 2016 ceremony.
Elsewhere on the charts, Tamar Braxton bows at #2, earning 37k for her new album ‘Calling All Lovers‘. The numbers are a far cry from her last album but still a big feat for the singer and with her stint on ‘Dancing with the Stars’, her daytime spot on ‘The Real’ and upcoming winter tours with Mary J. Blige and Kem, her numbers are sure to rise.
