After surprising fans with his long awaited return a few weeks ago, R&B/Funk crooner D’Angelo made his first television appearance this era last night as the musical guest on ‘Saturday Night Live’.
The singer performed cuts from his new album ‘Black Messiah’ including “Really Love” and “The Charade” and in true D’Angelo fashion he used his performance to send a message, as he donned a black hoodie in memory of Trayvon Martin & his band ‘The Vanguard’ wore ‘I Can’t Breathe’ and ‘Black Lives Matter’ tees in support of Eric Garner.
