Donnie McClurkin has responded to the shade delivered to him last night on the season 2 premiere episode of ‘Empire’. In case you missed it, the shade was dished via ‘Fashion Queens’ co-host Miss Lawrence during a scene where he and Jamal (Jussie Smollett) were discussing an upcoming LGBT event. Get into it below.
The jab came as what many feel was a clap back to some controversial statements made by Donnie regarding the LGBT community earlier this year as we told you HERE. Following his statements around gay marriage, many on social media responded calling Donnie a hypocrite considering his past admissions that he reportedly overcame homosexuality. Well following the airing of last night’s episode and shade, Donnie responded via Twitter on Thursday posting the following subtle tweets. We see he is treading lightly.
As subtle as that was, things are getting messy in the comments over on Donnie’s Facebook page. Get into the shade from Facebook users and Donnie’s clapback’s at them below.
