‘Fashion Police’ co-host Giuliana Rancic is coming under major fire from Twitter right now after the airing of a Oscars Red Carpet recap episode of ‘Fashion Police’ which just aired on Monday night [2.23.15] on E!
During the hour special Giuliana, Kelly Osbourne and the other co-hosts did their normal spill of red carpet hits and misses but now Giuliana has landed herself in hot water over a racy and “race” fueled comment she made regarding actress Zendaya Coleman.
Zenadaya (who you remember was set to play Aaliyah but bailed on the movie) appeared at the Oscars donning absolutely gorgeous locs down her back, a look that was a first for her at least on a red carpet. During their critique of Zendaya’s look Giuliana apparently didn’t care too much for Zendaya’s mane and compared it to a few unpleasant aromas.
“I feel like she smells like patchouli oil…or maybe weed” Giuliana said.
Well shortly after Rancic made her insensitive comment, Zendaya took to her social media to give her a piece of her mind.
Twitter instantly began dragging Giuliana for her comments which prompted her to immediately issue a response and backpedal.
