Mariah Carey has been on the NYC promo trail this week and on Tuesday, May 17 she gave us the best interview yet. The elusive chanteuse herself stopped by Watch What Happens Live to chat and drink with Andy Cohen in the clubhouse and things got quite interesting.

Mimi dished on a number of things including her new docuseries, her upcoming wedding, and her plans to hit the studio to record a new album. Elsewhere, Mimi threw some classic shade like only she can on some of her peers including Nicki Minaj and of course Jennifer Lopez and even got a little shady on the subject of the American Idol finale, which she did not appear at.

On the subject of J.Lo, when asked to clarify whether she does or does not know J.Lo, she revealed that although she has met her, they are NOT friends which is why she says she “doesn’t know her.” However she says it was not intended as shade as people took it (side eye). She however did reveal that she DOES know and LIKES Britney Spears.

Later on while playing “Plead The Fifth” she was asked to say three nice things about Nicki Minaj, and her response was hilarious. She also discussed her rumored collaboration with Beyonce, their relationship, her reaction to the Jay Z cheating allegations, thoughts of Lemonade and so much more.
