Despite previous reports that Jay Z and Beyonce‘s ‘On The Run’ tour was not performing successfully in ticket sales, it is now reported that this couldn’t be further from the truth. According to Forbes, “On The Run” will sell nearly 1 million tickets which would equal a gross of around $100 million. With 20 shows scheduled that would put Jay and Bey second only to U2′s “360 Tour” ($736 million/110 shows). U2 grossed $6.7 million per show. Jay and Bey are on pace to collect close to $5 million per show.
To further build on the anticipation for the tour, on Monday (June 23) Jay shared some exclusive behind the scene snaps of he and Queen Bey during rehearsals for the show.
