When Mo’Nique visited ‘Sway In The Morning‘ just days ago to expound upon her issues with Netflix and why she was calling for a boycott of the streaming service, she received quite a bit of side eye and backlash.
She also took that time to address the lack of support that she was receiving from fans and peers on the matter, and stated that just like the black women of the past who had spoken out on their disparities in pay and respect in the industry, she was receiving the cold shoulder from those who look like her.
Well now, following Wanda Sykes coming out and throwing her support behind the actress/comedian by revealing that she too was approached by the streaming giant with an offer of less than 250k to do her own comedy special, now Mo’Nique has found support in another fellow counterpart, Jada Pinkett-Smith.
Get into Jada’s stance below.
As a community, we should be supporting the light she is shining on this truth.

In case you missed Wanda’s response…
.@moworldwide, thank you for speaking out. @netflix offered me less than half of your $500k. I was offended but found another home. #EPIX
