Janet Jackson may have wrapped her critically acclaimed ‘State of the World Tour’ earlier this year, but that doesn’t mean the living legend is done blazing stages.
Janet is set to headline several major shows this summer including FYF, Essence Festival and the Panorama Festival, both this July. With her upcoming busy schedule, the icon has now launched a search for new dancers to hit the road with her via her #DanceWithJanet competition.
Choreographer and creative Gil Duldulao gave some detail on the search.
“Jan and I pay attention to what’s happening on social media and we see great dancers with raw talent all the time. Whether you are a dance troupe or a solo artist, we’ll be checking you out!”
Those interested in participating in the search can submit their audition via social media or attend the in-person open call which will be held on Monday, April 23rd at Starwest Studios in Burbank, CA. You can find more info on Janet’s official website.
