It’s been a great week for Janet Jackson, following the release of her ‘Unbreakable World Tour’ dates she has already sold out multiple dates, then it was announced that she would be presented the first ever and only ‘Ultimate Icon’ award at this Sunday’s BET Awards. Then of course she also released her first single from her highly anticipated comeback album this week.
Well now after less than a three days out ‘No Sleeep’ is on course to crack the iTunes top 10. Early Wednesday (June 24) the single was within the top 20 and climbing but as of this evening, the track has moved up quite a few spots to #14 on the iTunes singles charts and is making its way in the top 10 as of time of posting. This a considerable feat considering there is no visual and Janet has been promoting the single via her very own label Rhythm Nation Records which her album will also be housed under.
