Janet Jackson 'Unbreakable' Tour Announced, First Round of Dates Released [Details]

Over the weekend it was rumored that Monday (June 15) would bring yet another major announcement regarding Janet Jackson‘s epic and highly anticipated musical return, and now the rumor has panned out to be true so get ready to be slayed.

Just moments ago, in the early hours of Monday morning the first string of dates for Janet’s upcoming world tour were unveiled via Ticketmaster and Livenation. The trek titled the ‘Unbreakable’ tour kicks off September 8 in Winnipeg, Manitoba and so far will hit multiple parts of the globe including Miami, Raleigh, Atlanta, Nashville with more cities to be announced.

Update: Janet has posted the official tour promo artwork and issued an official press release below which reads:

LOS ANGELES (June 15, 2015)– Music icon, multiple GRAMMY® Award-winner and multi-platinum selling artists today announced details of her highly anticipated international tour. The UNBREAKLE TOUR will return one of this world’s most influential entertainers back to the live stage in support of her upcoming album due out this Fall on Rhythm Nation Records/BMG. This first leg, a 36-date tour, 30 of which are promoted by Live Nation, will take the legendary artist to cities throughout the U.S. and Canada with shows lined up in Los Angeles, Chicago, Miami, Atlanta, San Diego, San Francisco and more. In addition to Live Nation and Rhythm Nation, other concert promoters will include Nederlander Concerts, Jam Productions, Another Planet Entertainment, and such promoters as Bamp and Tommy Meharey who will produce the Honolulu dates.
