Kandi Burruss Talk Her Future on RHOA Amidst Reported Cast-Shakeup/Phaedra Parks Return For S14+Sheree Whitfield In Talks Again To Return [Video]

The streets are always talking when it comes to who’s coming, and who’s going on ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta,’ and now following reports of an upcoming cast shake-up for season 14, Kandi Burruss is speaking on her future on the show.

The streets have been buzzing that there is a major overhaul coming following season 13 which brought in good ratings, but not like the golden era of RHOA. Reportedly, production is looking to swap out a few peaches and bring back a few vets.

This week, it was reported that fan fave Phaedra Parks is once again being considered to return for season 14.

As many fans know, Phaedra departed the show after the season 9 drama that went down between her, Kandi, and Porsha Williams came to an explosive head at the season 9 reunion. That drama was the catalyst that sparked Phaedra’s departure as she did not return for season 10.

Since then, fans have been begging for the Southern Belle to return and former Housewife NeNe Leakes even suggested that she attempted to help orchestrate Phaedra’s return to the show but it was allegedly blocked after Kandi reportedly threatened Bravo to leave the hit show if Phaedra were to come back.

Well now, ahead of season 14, the rumor mill is once again suggesting that Phaedra might be returning–despite Kandi’s reservations about it.

“RHOA was once Bravo’s highest-rated housewives show but has lost its superiority over other shows in the franchise,” the source said.
“There’s going to be a big cast shake-up next season and some producers are mulling over asking Phaedra Parks to return.
“Many insiders believe NeNe would help drive ratings, but her feud with producers seems to show no signs of letting up.
“Fans were shocked when she left and there has been a question mark over whether she’ll ever return, and it looks unlikely.
“The hope is that having fan favorites like Phaedra come back will help the show rise back into the 2 million viewers-a-week arena.”

There is also talk of Sheree Whitfield also in negotiations to return for season 14. Sheree’s return to the show was reportedly set to take place this past season as she was set to attend several cast events including the birthday party for Kenya Moore‘s daughter Brooklyn.

However, due to editing/production issues and behind-the-scenes changes, that never came to fruition. However, talk of her getting her peach back is reportedly on the table. The ever-reliable Peach Report Daily has also alluded to her return multiple times in the past months.
